With the COVID-19 raging, many institutions are putting their trust in vaccines and tried and true mitigations strategies to bring students back to campus this school year 2023-2024. Unfortunately, the pandemic also affected our PDL students access to face-to-face classes in Jail during the Pandemic. Because government mandates suspended visitation, interrupting the instruction of in-person courses. We used Module based instruction during the Pandemic, but students are very happy that resume classes in person. We thank to BJMP regional director CSUPT Isabelo V Cartin Jr for believing education is a great way to rehabilitate our PDLS and the Bestway to reintegrated main society. JCINSP Erwin B.ESDEN , Davao city Jail Annex Warden went over security protocol for our teachers.
College Education Behind Bars has become a gateway to social and economic mobility and has played a major role in the transformation of so many Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
